Bryan Cooper injury update: The news was as positive as it could be
I had a 1.30pm appointment with my specialist, Dr Paddy Kenny, today and the news was as positive as it could be.
He said it wasn’t the worst fracture in the world as it didn’t go down into the joint and it won’t need surgery, which was a relief.
So I have to be patient now, rest up, and do my physio – which will probably entail a lot of swimming – but apart from that there is not a lot I can do.
I will go back to see him in four weeks for another X-ray, and hopefully I will be back riding not long afterwards.
