Paddy Brennan: Conditions will suit as I aim to continue winning association with Doncaster rides

Always On The Run

I am three from four on the horse, and on the other occasion at Ayr he unseated me at the first!  He won those races on good and soft ground, so whatever the weather does in the next 24 hours shouldn’t be an issue, and this trip isn’t a problem for him either. He looks to have run below par on both his starts at Cheltenham and Towcester this season, but at least he has come down 3lb in the weights as a result. If he comes back to his best, he will be very competitive off this mark, as he is a young horse I liked last season.

No Duffer

I have actually won on this one four times. Three miles on decent ground is what he wants, and he looks set to get that combination here.  Having won a valuable race at Haydock, he rounded off last season when winning for me at Perth, where he did very well to get back up having made a mistake at the last. He is 6lb higher here but hopefully he hasn’t stopped improving yet, and this test will obviously suit him more than the novice hurdle he contested at Cheltenham in October. He actually didn’t run too badly there.
