32Red sponsors the British Flat Jockeys' Championship 2009

We’ve long supported sport in Britain, with 32Red backing the Premiership club Aston Villa for two years, championing the best individual Dart players and sponsoring big racing events like the Cheveley Park Stakes. Now we are to further support the sport of kings by being the official sponsors of the Flat Jockey Championship 2009.

The Championship always generates a great deal of interest as the biggest names in horse racing compete for the prestigious title. In the past we’ve seen the title decided in the last few meetings and even dead heats, as it was in 2007 between jockey giants (no pun intended...) Jamie Spencer and Seb Sanders. We’re sure this year won’t break the mould either, with the highly anticipated return of Kieren Fallon to the saddle in September and the possibility of 2009 creating the first female champion jockey in Hayley Turner, after her incredible 100 race winning season last year.
