He showed some promise in a fast-ground bumper before coming to us and he was entitled to need the run after a long absence when making his debut for us at Doncaster last month. Hopefully, he can step forward here but he obviously needs more to be competitive.
He ran a good race for me when second at Leicester but he probably ran a bit below that level when fourth at Taunton last time, albeit it wasn’t a bad effort. The handicapper has left him on the same mark, which isn’t ideal, but conditions will suit and he has each-way claims on that Leicester run.
