Adrian Heskin

Adrian Heskin announced himself as a future star of National Hunt racing in 2010 when, in his first ever Cheltenham Festival ride, he claimed victory on board A New Story in The Cross-Country Chase. Success consistently followed for the talented Heskin and at the start of the 2017-18 season, the 25-year-old had already amassed over 200 winners in Great Britain and Ireland. Notable victories for Heskin have included the Bet365 Gold Cup at Sandown on Church Island, aged just 17 and a further high at Cheltenham when claiming the Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle on Martello Tower in 2015. In 2016, Heskin was appointed lead jockey for Gloucestershire trainer Tom George and a series of wins duly followed in the early stages of their partnership. Success with The Worlds End at the Aintree Festival and Double Shuffle at the 32Red Winter Festival at Kempton were undoubted highlights of their impressive first campaign. The 2017-18 season may have only just got underway, but the wins have unsurprisingly continued to follow. With the perfect blend of experience, youth and ambition, Heskin will now be looking to cement his place as one of Great Britain and Ireland’s leading jockeys.
