I’m A Celebrity – new celebs revealed?
With our new I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! slot proving to be a massive hit, are you still craving more I’m A Celeb action? Here’s who’s being rumoured to appear on the unmissable telly show when it returns later this year.
Mike Thalassitis
This bloke looks like a complete poser to us, but maybe that’s cos we spend our downtime slumped in front of the telly, rather than frittering away hour after sweaty hour in the gym. Famous for going on reality TV show Love Island, where he pursued a fellow contestant’s girlfriend. Sure to be good for some ‘banter’.
Vanessa White
Songstress Vanessa used to be a member of girl group The Saturdays, which surely marks her out for nationwide bouts of ogling every time she hits the I’m A Celebrity showers. Vanessa’s hoping to jump-start her career as a solo music artist; maybe going on the show will do for her what Insania did for Peter Andre…
Jonny Mitchell
Jonny is another former Love Island contestant, an Essex-based business director, apparently, who summed up the nature of romantic love in poetic style when he declared his strategy on Love Island was to go for ‘the less pretty one, as they’re likely to stick with you to the end’. Stop, we’re welling up here!
Rebekah Vardy
She’s married to Leicester City and England footballer Jamie Vardy, but it looks like Rebekah’s seeking to make a name for herself on her own terms – even if that means eating dried-up old kangaroo anuses, or whatever other zany items are on the menu in the Australian outback.
Katie Hopkins
And talking of dried-up old kangaroo anuses… no stranger to reality TV, Katie made her bones on the Apprentice, and has gone on to have a career in radio and newspaper columns where she specialises in making inflammatory statements about immigrants. One unintended consequence of having her in the camp is that for the other celebs, Hopkins’ demonic presence is likely to make even the most unpleasant Bushtucker Trial seem like sweet, sweet relief.
Honey G
Born Anna Gilford, Honey G had her allotted 15 minutes of fame when she appeared on the last series of the X Factor. She also attempted to capitalise on her fleeting fame with the release of a single – it failed to crack the top 100, but hey, at least she’s having a go, I suppose. Give the girl a break, will ya?
