Double Exposure Blackjack

Double Exposure Blackjack is a new variant of the classic blackjack game. Taking elements of the original game and turning them on their head, Double Exposure Blackjack is a refreshing and thrilling way of enjoying blackjack.

Double Exposure Blackjack is based on the basic blackjack principles of acquiring a score of 21 and beating the dealer. Players can do so by acquiring blackjack (the 2 card combination of an Ace and a 10 value card), or building a score of 21 by drawing other cards from the shoe. If the player's score is greater than the dealer's, without surmounting a total value of 21 (going bust), then the player will win that game. Get more information on playing blackjack.

Unique features of Double Exposure Blackjack include:

  • Both the dealer's and player's hands are visible after dealing, vastly improving the player chances of beating the dealer.
  • All ties, apart from tied blackjacks, are NOT pushed (where the stake is returned to the player). Instead the dealer wins.
  • Blackjack pays out at evens (1:1) instead of 3:2 as with other blackjack games.
  • A players Blackjack beats the dealer's blackjack.

The result is a very balanced game of blackjack, where the player can make truly informed decisions to outscore the dealer. Other elements of Double Exposure Blackjack you should know include:

  • Double Exposure Blackjack is played with 8 regular decks.
  • Dealer must stay on soft 17.
  • Players can double down on hard 9, 10 and 11 scores.
  • Hands can be split 4 times.
