Jockeys
Paddy Brennan
Paddy’s finest hour remains his 2010 Gold Cup win on Imperial Commander, but the Irishman has enjoyed plenty of other highlights in his career, riding more than a thousand winners, winning big races like the Ascot Chase, the Betfair Chase (three times!) and the King George VI Chase. He has ridden top calibre horses like Cue Card, Inglis Drever and Tidal Bay.
Fergal O’Brien
Fergal is a Grade One winning National Hunt trainer based in Cheltenham who works alongside brilliant jockeys like Paddy Brennan. With the likes of Harry Redknapp, New Zealand rugby coach Warren Gatland and jockey Noel Fehily all owning horses trained by Fergal, the trainer’s yard is flourishing – and 32Red are delighted to be a part of this success story.
Boxers
Josh Warrington
With an incredible record of 30 wins from 30 fights, including six knockouts, Josh is the current IBF Featherweight champion. Trained by his father Sean O’Hagan, the Leeds Warrior is a world champion – but remains a down-to-earth character outside of the ring. A huge sport fan, Josh follows local side Leeds United when it comes to football, and is also a supporter of rugby league team Leeds Rhinos.
Carl Frampton
Carl Frampton is the former unified world super-bantamweight and world featherweight champion. With victories on his resume against elite level fighters such as Leo Santa Cruz, Kiko Martinez and Scott Quigg, he is widely regarded as pound-for-pound one of the best fighters in the business and has been named Ring Magazine, Boxing Writers of America and ESPN Fighter of the Year. Now signed with promoter Frank Warren, the Belfast fighter is a leading light of BT Sports new boxing coverage, Frampton is well positioned for a huge few years to come.
Jack Catterall
We’re proud to be associated with Jack. The current WBO #1 contender and undefeated so far in his career, no wonder this young southpaw from Lancashire is so well regarded in the business. With 13 of his wins to date coming by knockout, El Gato is a fearsome proposition – and he’s only just getting started. As the man himself says “It’s ultimately about getting the win – but I want to look good doing it!”
Zelfa Barrett
For the Brown Flash, boxing is in the blood. His uncle Pat once boxed with promoter Frank Warren, and now Zelfa has continued the legacy, fighting as part of Frank’s stable. Thus far, Zelfa has enjoyed 23 wins and just a solitary defeat, and the Mancunian fighter is hungry for more glory. As the man himself told us after his fight with Lyon Woodstock, “I feel confident. I’m not saying this in an arrogant way but when I’m in the ring I feel like I’m the best again.”
Queensbury Promotions
We’re delighted to continue our close association with Frank Warren’s Queensbury Promotions. Frank is a legendary figure, while Queensbury have organised some of the most memorable events in UK boxing history. Daniel Dubois, one of the most exciting young boxers on the planet, is represented by Frank; Daniel joins a list of established stars like Josh Warrington and Carl Frampton, while past greats to have worked with Frank include Naseem Hamed, Frank Bruno, Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank and more!
