Britain's Got Talent

Reality TV shows based around competitions have been responsible for some of the biggest viewership figures ever seen since we can remember.

From Big Brother to the X-Factor and Survivor, TV audiences can’t seem to get enough of a programme where they pick their favourite contestants, also choose the ones they don’t like and spend the next few weeks cheering some on and booing others as the heat intensifies.

One by one, they’re eliminated until it’s last man or woman standing, the winner walking away with money, fame, fan adulation and in most cases, a guaranteed period of media spotlight and once-in-a-lifetime attention from the general public.

Right up there with the most popular of these is Britain’s Got Talent, the Saturday Night TV extravaganza where contestants sing, dance, act, perform magic or whatever other talent (the clue is in the name) they think will impress the judges and the general public the most.

Since first airing in 2007, it’s given us contestants including Susan Boyle, Paul Potts, Lost Voice Guy and Diversity.

15 years later the BGT’s lights are still shining bright on our screens.

So, it’s no wonder that an all-singing-all-dancing slot was made to celebrate one of the most successful TV shows to ever hit British screens.

Spoiler alert: If you’re expecting to see Simon Cowell, his ever-rising trousers and perfectly stationary hair or Amanda Holden’s ice-melting smile or trademark daring dress…you’re going to be disappointed.

They ‘may’ be present in one of the other Britain’s Got Talent games right here at 32Red, but they don’t grace this particular one. But what this Britain’s Got Talent game is lacking in appearances from celebrity judges, it’s certainly not lacking in colourful symbols, multiplier trails, bonus features and Jackpots

Here’s all you need to know about this slot where the next big winner could be… you!

Britain’s Got Talent Special Features

The Britain’s Got Talent TV show may have hundreds of contestants fighting it out to prove they’re the most talented of the lot; but the Britain’s Got Talent slot has just three main attractions.

They’re the three special features that you’re constantly trying to unlock. Or to put it another way: the three features that are going to fill your pockets, like a tell-all interview from a successful BGT contestant with a tabloid newspaper.

Here’s how to activate them, play them and get the best out of them.

Rolling Reels Feature

The first of them is the one you’re going to see the most often.

After any win, whether in the base game or the free spins round, the symbols that made up that win will disappear to be replaced by new ones, which are the symbols hovering above the reel. This process will continue as long as you keep on having new winning combinations.

But what about the multiplier? At the bottom of the reels, you’ll see 1x, 2x, 3x and 5x displayed in the base game and 3x, 6x, 9x and 15x in the free spins round.

Every time you have a new win thanks to the Roling Reels, the multiplier will move to the next level. If you’ve reached the maximum multiplier- 5x in the base game, 15x in the free spins- that’s the one that will be in play as long as you carry on having new wins.

Free Spins

Free spins are as much a part of slots as Ant and Dec are a part of BGT, so it’s perhaps no surprise that this one has a free spins round of its own.

The Free Spins symbol is as bold, brash and full of life as a cockney-speaking BGT boyband and you really can’t miss it on the reels. However, it only appears on Reels 1, 2 and 3 and not Reels 4 and 5, so you’re going to need to land the treasured symbol on those first three reels.

Or are you?

The Wild Symbol, more on it later, has the power to substitute for any symbol including this one, which is extremely rare in a slot as the Free Spins/Scatter is generally the only one the Wild doesn’t substitute for.

All the better for you. It means that if you have two Free Spins symbols and a Wild, or even two Wilds and a Free Spins symbol, you’ll trigger the bonus round anyway.

Once activated, you’ll get 8 free spins to look forward to.

The free spins round operates at the same stake you were playing at when you triggered it and can be re-activated by getting three Free Spins symbols during it.

In addition to giving you better prizes than during the base game, the multiplier in play is considerably bigger than normal. It goes: 3x, 6x, 9x and 15x.

Jackpot

In addition to substituting for other symbols, the Wild serves another purpose: triggering one of three Jackpots. Every time a Wild appears, it will be collected in the pot in the bottom left of the screen and the more of them are collected, the greater your chances of the Jackpot kicking in. You’ll be awarded one of the three: Minor, Major or Grand and if you are to get one, it will be at the end of the Rolling Reels feature; this could happen either in the base game or the free spins round.
The Grand is the equivalent of winning the whole GBT contest for the year: it’s what you’re playing for!

How to play the Britain’s Got Talent slot

You don’t have to decide what your act is here, but you do have to decide what your stake per spin is.

Not only does a higher stake mean bigger wins in the base game and free spins round, but it also means the three Jackpots will be bigger; the more you play for, the bigger each of them becomes.

All way wins begin with the leftmost reel and pay left to right in any position on adjacent reels. Increasing your stake doesn’t bring more pay lines into play. Rather, there are always 243 different ways to win irrespective of your chosen stake.

As you know by now, any win will be followed by the Roling Reels Feature and the longer that goes on for, the better.

We’ve talked about the Wild substituting for the Free Spins symbol, but it does of course also substitute for regular symbols as well. So, two cherries in a row with a Wild on the next reel would be enough to see you paid out.

Can’t get enough of Britain’s Got Talent?

That’s normal: no-one can get enough of it!

Three bonus features and an all-action slot here will keep you entertained for as long as the TV show it was inspired by does. But the good news is that it’s not the only Britain’s Got Talent slot here at 32Red.

The two other Britain’s Got Talent games to be found at this very casino are Britain’s Got Talent Branded Megaways and Slingo Britian’s Got Talent.

They’re all very different games with their own characteristics and unique selling points, just like a real-life BGT contestant, but if they’ve got the Britain’s Got Talent stamp on them, you can bet they’re of real quality.
