He went up 5lb for winning well at Fontwell on good ground in December but he proved he can handle far more testing conditions when third over 3m in the heavy at Uttoxeter last time. The longer trip here should suit him, and you have to give him a decent chance off the same mark as Uttoxeter, and the race has cut up a fair bit, too.

He has shown ability but he needs more time and experience and this look a pretty hot race for Southwell on a Sunday.

He hasn’t been seen since winning a good-ground point nearly two years ago – that is his only start to date – but he is a half-brother to the decent Risk A Fine and he has shown us ability at home. We think he is decent but this may take a lot of winning with the likes of Newbury runner-up My Mate Mark and Mon Palois in here.
