Josh Warrington

With an unblemished record of 24 wins from 24 fights, including 5 by knockout, the Leeds Warrior, Josh Warrington, is one of British boxing’s rising stars. He made his professional debut in 2009 and quickly progressed through the domestic scene, winning the British, Commonwealth and European Featherweight titles inside 20 fights and is currently the WBC International Featherweight Champion. 2015 was a breakout year for Josh. A unanimous decision victory over Dennis Tubieron in April set up a clash with highly ranked Australian, Joel Brunker for the WBC International Featherweight belt and by winning every round on all three judges scorecards, Josh announced himself onto the World scene. Subsequent wins over Hisashi Amagasa and Patrick Hyland in 2016 now leave Josh poised for a potential showdown with long-time rival Lee Selby, in what would be a huge domestic World title clash. Famed for the ferocity of his style and the passion of his loyal Leeds following, 2017 is destined to be a huge year for the Leeds Warrior.
