I rode him when he was fourth over hurdles at Exeter last month and he looks to have come on for the run when placed in a handicap chase at Sedgefield last time. He has been dropped another 1lb for that, and he ran really when just touched in a handicap hurdle on heavy on this card last season. I think he has definite chances off a mark of 124. He has run really well in cheekpieces before, and they are back on here, too; that’s a positive.
Florrie Knox
I’ve ridden him a couple of times, most recently when he was a close third at Uttoxeter on heavy on New Year’s Eve, and he appears to have shaped well when fourth on better ground on his return at Market Rasen last month. Trip and ground look ideal, and I’m expecting a good run. He will handle the testing conditions.
