Paddy Brennan: I’m confident of a very big run

Red Hot Chilly

He showed ability last season, not least when unseating his rider after the last when in the process of winning at Uttoxeter. He makes his debut for us and hopefully he will go well, but maybe his winning future lies in handicaps rather than here. I hope I am wrong, obviously.

Cloonacool

He has run two fair races for me recently and has come down 3lb in the weights, so the handicapper has given him a chance. He has also run three good races here in the past, so I can certainly give him each-way claims.

Grageelagh Girl

I think the ground went against her at Cheltenham last time. By the time of the last it was soft, heavy in places, and that wasn’t ideal. So hopefully the ground here isn’t that bad. But she clearly ran really well in finishing second to a good mare in Posh Trish. This is another good race, but the winner doesn’t run here and the level of ability that she has shown in her last two starts make her one of the form horses, so here is hoping she can follow up Oscar Rose’s win in this race last season. I’m confident of a very big run.
