He won three times in the provinces in France but has not gone on from a fair second on his hurdling debut at Newbury in December. He will need to return to that form to have any chance here but this doesn’t look an exceptionally strong maiden hurdle and all his winning form in France came in deep ground.
Easter In Paris
She has shown very little in her last two starts but she is on the same mark as when I rode her to finish second at Plumpton in January, and soft ground suits her. The Plumpton run came over 2m1f but she is a winning pointer so this longer trip will suit and she has a fair chance in a poor race.
Café Au Lait
He comes here in good form, following up a 2m Wetherby win with placed efforts on his last two starts off a 6lb higher mark. He has plenty of form over this longer trip and he just looks solid in a race that hopefully won’t take too much winning.
