Bryan Cooper: Doctor not happy, so I won’t be riding this weekend.

I am disappointed to report that I won’t be riding at Down Royal this week, and my comeback has been put on hold.

I had been targeting the two-day Grade 1 meeting for my return, but I went to see the doctor today and he was not sufficiently happy with how my fractured right arm has healed for me to resume race-riding just yet.

Of course, it is disappointing but there is no point in rushing these things – patience is key in these situations – and I hope it is not too long before I am back in the saddle.

When I know more, you will.

But I will be assessing Saturday’s Down Royal meeting for 32Red customers, so tune in here this weekend for my thoughts.
