He won a point before going to Rebecca Curtis, for whom he showed some ability when third at Taunton back in November. That came on fast ground but he did show some form on soft when third in a Chepstow bumper. We have been happy with what we have seen of him at home since he joined us, and hopefully a mark of 103 allows him to be competitive. He could maybe want better ground, though.
He was one of a number of Malcolm Denmark horses who joined us from Ireland and he ran a pleasing debut for us when second at Ffos Las in December. Hopefully he can build on that here, and run another good race. I think he will go well.
