Paddy Brennan: Hopefully, we will see a different mare here

Carlos Du Fruitier

I’ve haven’t sat on him before but he appears to have run well when a close third at Exeter last time. He races off the same mark here, so hopefully he can be similarly competitive. Good ground looks to suit him.

Oscar Rose

She ran some great races in defeat last season, so we were delighted that she was able to get her head in front on her return at Worcester. She faced a stiffish task at the weights against higher-rated horses at Wetherby last time, so we shouldn’t be too disappointed at all by her fifth there, especially as the ground was a bit too quick for her and maybe the race came a bit too soon as well. She steps back up in trip here, and we know that she stays well from her good third off this mark at Cheltenham back in April, and I’m still of the opinion that she has a good handicap in her off 122. Hopefully, we will see a different mare here, back up to a trip we know she wants and gets.

Robyndzone

He had his first run for us, after winning his point in the summer, at Cheltenham last month and you had to say he was a little disappointing there. But we still think a fair bit of him, and hopefully he can show more here.
