Paddy Brennan: I can’t get wait to get back on Cue Card

Paddy Brennan: I can’t get wait to get back on Cue Card

It looks like it could be a quiet start to the week for me. Maybe Perfect Candidate or Theatre Guide in the Ultima on the Tuesday. But I would love to see Barney Dwan run a big race for the stable in the Close Brothers.

On Wednesday, I could have Night Of Glory in the Fred Winter and Herescomestheboom in the Champion Bumper. I rode God’s Own last time out when third at Kempton and it’ll be interesting to see how he gets on if he lines up, as expected, in the Champion Chase. I also have Coolanly in the Ballymore.

The highlight of the week has to be Cue Card in the Ryanair, though. I can’t wait to get back on him after his Ascot run for me last time.

Colin’s Sister is in the Mares’ Hurdle on Tuesday but we will probably allow her to take her chance in the Stayers’ Hurdle. Also on Thursday, we have Cap Soleil in the Mares’ Novices’ hurdle.

Hopefully, I will pick up some more rides during the week, but on Friday I have Poetic Rhythm in the Albert Bartlett and Doitforthevillage in the Grand Annual. I am particularly looking forward to seeing what Poetic Rhythm can do over three miles.
