32Red ambassador Zelfa Barrett returns to action this weekend and is desperate to reclaim his position as one of Britain’s most promising fighters.
His slick, hard hitting style attracted a large fan base and earned him the English Super Featherweight title before Barrett suffered a disappointing and frustrating 2018. Ronnie Clark snatched away his undefeated record in one of the best fights of the year and Barrett then suffered a torn achilles which required surgery and sidelined him for months.
Back to full fitness and hungrier than ever, Barrett returns to action this weekend and will then appear on the undercard of fellow 32Red ambassador Josh Warrington’s world title defence against Kid Galahad in June.
32Red have had full access to Barrett’s rehabilitation and get the lowdown on his recovery, his reason for fighting and his targets for 2019.
