Adrian Heskin: A 2lb rise for that win looks very fair

I don’t know a lot about her to be honest, but I see she won her point and I thought she shaped better than her beaten distance would suggest in a bumper at Exeter earlier in the month. The ground is obviously a question mark and she clearly has to progress a fair deal to be competitive here, but you would have certainly thought the switch to obstacles would be in her favour, given the pointing background.

This is the first time I have sat on him, too, and I suppose the heavy ground may not be ideal, though he does have form in soft. But he certainly comes here in fair order after a good-ground win at Leicester last time, and a 2lb rise for that looks very fair. The step back in trip shouldn’t be any problem at all, especially in this ground.
Dan’s Quest
He hasn’t raced for nearly a year and hasn’t shown any solid form for nearer two by the looks of it, but if he comes back to the form of his Chepstow second then he is certainly weighted to throw his hat into the ring in this race. He won’t have raced in anything as heavy as this, though.
