Adrian Heskin: A reproduction of that win will see him go well here

Act Of Valour

Even with his 5lb penalty, you have to say that the Chepstow winner We Have A Dream is the one to beat here. We finished a long way behind him at Doncaster last time as well, but that clearly wasn’t our true running. Act Of Valour was a 97-rated middle-distance horse on the Flat in Ireland and he had earlier shown what he could do over hurdles when beating the smart subsequent winner Look My Way at Newcastle in December. I know that he has picked up a 3lb penalty for that win but a reproduction of that win will see him go well here, and decent ground suited him in Ireland, so fingers crossed on that score.

Stamp Your Feet

This is a horse that I have a lot of time for and he has bounced back from a poor Cheltenham run in November with a win at Hereford and a good second off a 4lb higher mark here last time to a progressive horse in Cresswell Legend. He has gone up another 3lb but that was to be expected and hopefully he will see out this longer trip okay. If he does, then I am pretty hopeful of another good show.

Seddon

He hasn’t any experience from the point field, which is a negative for newcomers in bumpers, but he has a decent pedigree and we like what we have seen of him at home. We are bringing him here for the prospect of better ground.
