I wasn’t on board when he won at Haydock but you had to be impressed by the way he won there. The runner-up was experienced and ran well when second in a nursery at Newmarket on Thursday, and they pulled clear of an odds-on chance. This is obviously a tougher race but we like to think our juveniles come on a fair bit for their debuts, so here is hoping that he goes close. He is a well-related Dubawi colt, a lovely long-term prospect, and is a horse we rate. Hopefully, he handles the track okay.

Touch wood, he has been running well for me this year and I hope it continues here. He was off the track for a while after winning for me at Chelmsford in March and returned to form when second at Yarmouth last time. Ease in the ground suits him well enough and hopefully he can continue to be competitive off this mark.
