Luke Morris Adds To 32Red Ambassadors’ Stable

Morris joins Gordon and Spencer at 32Red to bolster Flat season team

32Red are delighted to welcome Luke Morris to their stable of brand ambassadors.

Morris will join fellow Flat jockeys Jamie Spencer and Josephine Gordon at 32Red as a brand ambassador – as well as our National Hunt team of Bryan Cooper, Paddy Brennan and Nico de Boinville – in providing regular content across the coming season.

The blog entries will cover all Morris’ prominent rides throughout the season, as well as his thoughts on the major festivals and hot topics in racing.

Morris, the stable jockey for Sir Mark Prescott, is a leading contender for the title of UK’s hardest-working jockey.

With over 6,000 rides in the past 5 years, he has earned his place amongst Flat racing’s most successful names. His 189 winners in 2015 was the most of any Flat jockey that calendar year and was promptly followed with the title of 2016’s All-Weather Champion Jockey, his third success in that sphere.

With more than 100 winners in each of the past six seasons, it’s no surprise that Morris has tasted success in some of the sport’s biggest races and 2016 was no exception. Morris’ 159 winners included Prince of Lir’s victory in the Norfolk Stakes and Marsha’s success in the Group 1 Prix de l’Abbaye at Chantilly – his second win in the race having been victorious in 2010 on the Clive Cox-trained Gilt Edge Girl.

Luke Morris said:

“I am delighted to be joining the 32Red Team as brand ambassador and columnist. After a successful 2016 I’m looking to build on that this year. I hope to give 32Red readers and customers an insight into the Flat Racing scene and point them in the right direction.”

Matt Booth, Chief Commercial Officer, 32Red PLC added:

“We are thrilled to add Luke Morris to our team of brand ambassadors and add further depth to the quality of our Flat racing content. Luke has proven over the past six years that he has the quality, consistency and work ethic to match any jockey in the UK, a case proven by his repeated success in the All-Weather Jockey Championships. We look forward to reading his thoughts on the current season and seeing him continue to add to his tally further in the 32Red sponsored breaches.”
